Lion King 2: Simba's Pride, directed by Darrell Rooney and Rob LaDuca, is a 1998 American animated musical film, produced by Walt Disney Pictures and released by Buena Vista Home Entertainment. It is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Lion King released in 1994.

The story of Lion King 2 takes place after the events of the first movie, where Simba becomes king after defeating his uncle Scar. Simba has a daughter, Kiara, who is the new heir to the throne. Kiara is a headstrong young lioness who dreams of exploring beyond the Pride Lands. However, Simba is overprotective of her and forbids her from venturing outside the kingdom. Despite this, Kiara ventures out to the Outlands where she meets a young lion, Kovu.

Kovu, a member of Scar's pride, was chosen by Scar's followers to be his successor, but Simba exiled him along with the rest of Scar's followers. Kovu was trained by his mother Zira to kill Simba and take over the Pride Lands. However, after meeting Kiara, he begins to question his loyalty to Zira and his mission to kill Simba. The two young lions develop a strong bond, but their relationship is tested by their conflicting loyalties to their prides.

The film explores the themes of family, loyalty, and prejudice. The conflict between the Pride Land lions and the Outland lions is a metaphor for prejudice and discrimination in our society. The movie teaches us that we should not judge others based on their background or upbringing but rather on their character.

The Hindi dubbed version of Lion King 2: Simba's Pride, known as Sher Khan 2, features an impressive voice cast. Actor Shah Rukh Khan lends his voice to the adult Simba, while his son Aryan Khan voices the character of Simba's son Kion. Actress Neena Gupta voices the character of Simba's wife Nala, while Ashish Vidyarthi gives voice to the villainous Scar.

Overall, Lion King 2: Simba's Pride (Sher Khan 2) is an entertaining and heartwarming movie that is perfect for the whole family. The movie has a great story, lovable characters, and amazing music that will have you singing along. The film's message of acceptance and understanding makes it a must-watch for everyone, regardless of their age.
